Come learn how to give and receive Vedic Thai Yoga Massage at this monthly community event. Bring your partner, family, friends, meet new people of like mind and learn how to share this healing art form.

Thai massage is considered the main system of healthcare among the Thai culture. Characterized by hypnotic rhythmical compressions that stimulate energy pathways and assisted yoga stretches that open and relax the body, it is a joy to give and receive. Family and friends in Thailand treat each other regularly to maintain health and happiness. Help us bring this holistic folk art and practice to our community.

Come dressed in comfortable yoga clothing, bring a yoga mat, a blanket and a smile. 1st Sunday of each month!

Fun Flow starts slow as we connect with our breath and settle into the present moment. This class will open the body with restorative postures that will ease the way into a flow designed to celebrate creative movement and reconnecting to spirit, while encouraging an attitude of lightness and humor.


Some days you may honor your strength and take the most challenging variation, and some days a slower, more easeful practice. Enjoy a funky playlist and absorb all the collective energy. Ancient yogic teachings are shared in this class in an accessible way, with an emphasis on how they can be practiced in everyday life. Downward dog dance parties are encouraged!

Who takes a Chair Yoga class?
Are there special considerations for this population?
What types of poses work and how do you use the chair in class?

Two (2) free Chair Yoga classes taught by Mary Veal at Green Tara Yoga are included in the registration price of this workshop. Come see a real class in action. 3 CEUs provided. Mary Veal ~ E-RYT 500, is a “Yoga for Arthritis” Certified Teacher. Mary believes that EVERYONE can do yoga. As teachers, we just need to figure out what THEIR yoga is!
