Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. It’s usually practiced lying down with a teacher guiding the session. The practice draws your attention inwards, where you learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep. Your body finds its natural state of equilibrium and the breath balances and becomes quiet. Unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and you fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.
Slow, steady, and mindfully paced Hatha Yoga workshop style class. Learn to practice from self awareness as opposed to self consciousness in this alignment focused class. Learn the poses with proper form and safety for your body: bringing the pose to your body and never forcing your body into the pose. This class is great for beginners to seasoned practitioners.
