The ancient practice of Kali Natha Kundalini Tantric yoga has deep yogic roots. For yoga students of all disciplines who would like to experience the fullness of these ancient mystical techniques, join Shakti Durgaya Kali for this once a month event: • Each month will focus on a specific Asana series – of course we begin with a Mother Tara asana June 17th! • Additional breath practices, mudra practices and meditations that accompany the month’s asana will be taught. • Kundalini tantric techniques and Kriyas will be taught – a useful way to fill up your teaching toolbelt, or just enhance your personal sadhana practice. • Very specific teachings from Ma Jaya’s book The 11 Karmic Spaces will be woven through each session. Shakti Durgaya Kali, Kali Natha Yoga Acharya, has been sharing and training students in this mystical yoga for more than 18 years. She was initiated into Kali Natha Yoga by Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati, her guru and the founder of Kashi Ashram in Sebastian, Florida. Her passion is to share Ma Jaya’s lineage and to ease every heart.

Each class is designed to support you in the seasonal transitions and inspire you to flow with, and honor, the changes without and within. Our theme for September 16th is Let It Fall Away. In Ayurvedic terms, autumn is the season where Vata is predominant, and Vata is the principle of movement. Its qualities are cold, light, fast-moving and changeable. In fall we experience a change in nature and movement. It is a great time to let go, just as the trees release their leaves and begin to allow for renewal. Focus on letting go of negative patterns and thoughts, let go of what you no longer need, give yourself permission to be more nurturing towards yourself.

In Qoya you experience 13 core components with a unique theme that supports the embodiment of your true essence that is wise, wild, and free. Including yoga, dance, and sensual movement, this class is designed to help you shift from just going through the motions to savoring the sacred pulse that lives in the moment and within you. Qoya invites each woman to fully express herself through the movement of her body, feel more, remember her truth, and have fun. No experience is necessary – come as you are, leave as more of who you are.

Fun Flow starts slow as we connect with our breath and settle into the present moment. This class will open the body with restorative postures that will ease the way into a flow designed to celebrate creative movement and reconnecting to spirit, while encouraging an attitude of lightness and humor.


Some days you may honor your strength and take the most challenging variation, and some days a slower, more easeful practice. Enjoy a funky playlist and absorb all the collective energy. Ancient yogic teachings are shared in this class in an accessible way, with an emphasis on how they can be practiced in everyday life. Downward dog dance parties are encouraged!
